Hey my name is Will.
I have been a client of Lifespeed for several years. In March of this year they opened an adult day program called CORE.
Sid my behavior analyst and my friend had the great idea of me becoming a participant in the program and learn to be a peer mentor for the other participants in the program of all abilities.
Learning to become a peer mentor has taught me skills that I would have never had the opportunity to learn if it wasn’t for CORE.
Along with the skills that I am learning with Sid and the CORE teams guidance to help others like myself excel in the Community with Ownership ,Readiness,and Empowerment . I have realized that by learning to be the best peer mentor that I can be the skills have helped me regulate my emotions and take time with my decisions.
This opportunity has been a game changer for me as I want to help people of all ages and abilities .I am currently taking online classes to become a registered behavior technician to work alongside the therapist to help people like myself become the best version of ourselves.
