Take me out to the Theatre!, By Kristina Cox

The first play I went to is called Annie at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It was a musical about Annie who lives in an orphanage with other kids but the lady in charge of the orphanage is not so nice. Annie and her dog Sandy search for her parents. She doesn’t find her family. But she finds a home with Oliver Warbucks. The home is quite large and has a pool. My favorite song is Tomorrow. I sing that at glee club. I highly recommend everyone to go see Annie!

The second play I saw at the Dolby Theatre was Cinderella. When the curtains rose, everyone clapped, then the orchestra began to play and the show started with a beautiful ballet. The whole show was told through Ballet with no words spoken. Even though no words were spoken, it was very easy to follow the story. Looking forward to my next Ballet!

The third play I attended was at The Pantages Theatre in Hollywood called Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. The play opens with a train with the stage moving. You don’t feel it but it’s moving. The actors come out while the stage is moving. This play was not a musical. I saw a lot of magical scenes. I had a lot of fun and if you have the chance check it out.
