Reclining in Calmness – by Jacob

Jacob

I feel comfortable resting and residing and reclining in never-ending calmness. Reclining in calmness means that I just swim and soak perpetually in perfect peace that feels and sounds so heavenly to me. In the midst of such a crazy and burned out world, I declare that I have a free ticket to a heavenly place where I get to recline endlessly in calmness. I would never, ever in life trade peace or calmness for anything else in the world, ever. I am free to recline in calmness while I am kept in a perfect peace that is so unexplainable and unspeakable as long as my eyes and my mind are kept on my Heavenly Father. As I recline in this calmness, an abundance of happiness bubbles up inside of my heart. I long to hear the stillness and the softness of my Heavenly Father’s voice every time I recline in calmness. All restlessness and anxiety and the frustrations of the day are immediately washed away in the sea of forgetfulness. All I long to do and need to do when I am reclining in calmness is turn my eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful, glorious face. Whenever I consistently do that, every unnecessary thing melts away in His light. This peace I am gifted is like the dew of the morning that wets and showers me all over with such a wonderful, incomprehensible peace. I feel incredibly comfortable reclining in calmness because it provides an unexplainable feeling like no other and reclining in calmness saves me a lot of emotional distress and headaches and all of my cares, fears, and troubles melt away when I rest and recline in this lovely peacefulness. I imagine lounging on a beach in the beautiful Sunshine State and meditating quietly on the peace, goodness, and rest of my Heavenly Father, worshipping and soaking in Him all day long nonstop. I can never, ever get tired of reclining in calmness. May this story bring pure encouragement and peace to your heart this day as you recline in the calmness and the rest of your Heavenly Father.
