The Cat in the Hat is about A cat who wears a red bow tie and wears white and red striped hat. The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her brother one rainy day. The Cat in the Hat shows the children a few of the tricks in an attempt to entertain them. In the process, he and his companions, Thing One and Thing Two, wreck the house. As the children and the fish become more alarmed, the Cat produces a machine that he uses to clean the house. The Cat in the Hat disappears just before the children’s mother comes home. I like this story because It makes me happy!
